As a young child I was taught to sew by my wonderful mother and aunt, I started out on my mothers sewing machine and my aunt and uncle own a cabin on the lake where I used a treadle sew machine that was my grandmothers which I have in my shop, my mother and aunt would teach me to sew my own clothes. When I was married I made my daughter some of her clothing. In my early 40's I started piecing quilts. I then several years later started renting a Long arm to finish my quilts. Wasn't long I decided I wanted to purchase and go into business finishing others quilts as well. I was preparing to retire from my job of years of working outside the home and know I wanted to keep busy this was always my dream. We now own one Gammill Long arm and a 10 needle embroidery machine that we do embroidery on hats, towels, blankets and apparel. I also make T-shirt quilts and have made quilts for clients. We also make custom Retractable Design walls, we have singles and doubles. My husband of 45 years has always supported my dream and made it possible for this dream to come about. We have one daughter, her husband, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren we love dearly. God has Blessed us both.
